A WordPress website design for a Queensland-based accounting and taxation firm covering layout, visual hierarchy, service structure, and brand-consistent UI across all pages.
Your Tax Mate is a family-owned accounting and taxation firm based in Goodna, Queensland, Australia. The project was a pure design engagement I was responsible for the full visual design of the site, from layout and typography to component design and page structure.
The brief
The firm needed a web presence that felt approachable and trustworthy an accounting business that speaks plain English, not corporate jargon. The design had to serve two distinct audiences: small business owners seeking ongoing accounting support, and individuals needing help with tax returns.
Design approach
I designed the full site structure and visual language clear service separation between Business Services and Individual Services, a hierarchy that leads with the firm's core value proposition, and trust signals like Google reviews and professional affiliations placed deliberately to reduce friction for first-time visitors.
Pages designed
Homepage, About Us, Business Services, Individual Services, Blog, and Contact. Each page was designed with a consistent visual system typography scale, spacing rhythm, color application, and CTA placement so the site reads as a coherent whole rather than a collection of individual pages.
